Pax Christi Sisters

The Pax Christi Sisters were founded by Mother Teresa Santoyo in the Diocese of Corpus Christi, Texas on July 19th, 1969. In His merciful goodness, God gave our Mother Foundress, Mother Teresa Santoyo, the gift of our Pax Christi Spirituality which is that of "Oneness" and is based on the Gospel of St. John.

As inspired by Mother Teresa Santoyo the Pax Christi Liturgical Retreat Center is both a retreat and renewal center located in the Diocese of Corpus Christi, Texas at 4601 Calallen Dr., Corpus Christi, Texas 78410. 

The retreat center is a place to find peace, to walk in the light and to find restoration.  We host private and directed weekend retreats and offer days of prayer and spiritual direction.  The retreat center campus includes the Jesus Christ Our Peace Chapel, the Regina Pacis Dormitory and the St. Joseph Reception Hall. All campus facilities are places of peaceful renewal serving nutritional, educational and spiritual growth needs.


Chapel
The Jesus Christ Our Peace Chapel is the heart of the Liturgical Retreat Center.  The chapel is a sacred place where everyone can encounter the Lord, adore the Blessed Sacrament, and participate in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

Dormitory
The Regina Pacis dormitory can house 160 guests for overnight accommodations.  The dorms include single, double, ADA accessible rooms, meeting room and chapel.  Each dorm room includes a full private bathroom. 

Hall
St. Joseph Reception Hall includes a full service commercial kitchen and large meeting room to  accommodate up to 300 people.
